The goal of the Lodi PTO is to create a supportive learning community for students and the teachers within the schools. Lodi is fortunate to have one PTO for grades 4K-12.
The Lodi PTO sponsors such events as The Holiday Gift Shop, Science Fairs, Teacher Appreciation, PTO Scholarships, The Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Award, The Peace Awards, School Board Candidate forum, Night at the Kalahari, and much more.

Position Available in the Lodi PTO
On behalf of the Lodi PTO to consider an officer position with us in 2016-17. At our upcoming meeting on Monday, May 2, new officers will be voted in for next year. The position of Vice President is open, and so we are eagerly extending the invitation to all members to join us in this role. We would love to hear from you if you ...are interested in learning more about the position. Everyone is welcome in this or any capacity, as you all have unique and valuable skills to bring to the table. The PTO can only increase in value with your involvement and leadership next year!
The President is basically only responsible for setting the meeting agendas and running the monthly meetings. Of course, the role involves any random number of things as necessary to support the organization, but nothing clearly defined. Other duties usually include saying a few words once in a while at events or awards, for example. Also has most involvement with the principals and district. VP supports and co-handles these functions when the pres can’t do. Total commitment: 2-3 hours/month
The Secretary is responsible for coming to and documenting the monthly meetings with minutes and attendance. The minutes are sent to officers on email for approval and then to our website for posting. Pretty simple really. Total commitment: attend 1 hour monthly meeting. Complete minutes during meeting or after and distribute – estimated 1 hour/month. Total: 2 hours/month/9 months only.
